30th LD EVENTS CALENDAR
These are the meetings and events currently on the 30th LD Calendar. Keep your eyes on this pages, as we are always adding new events for you to get involved with as we take back Our Democracy.

February 13 — 30th LD Mardi Gras Party
This event is still in the planning stages. There’s plenty to do in putting the party together. Contact Our Fundraising Chair, Pat Artz, to get involved or for more information.
February 13 — 30th LD Platform Discussion
All eligble voters living within the 30th LD are encouraged to take part in developing the 30th LD Platform. If you're not sure of the process, please feel free to join in and learn. After all, knowledge is power, and we need a lot of people to produce the power that will take back our government.
The first Platform Discussion Meeting will occur at 1:00pm at the Commons Food Court. The Platform Committee Chair, Larry Jackson, plans on holding at least one more such discussion meeting prior to the March 13th LD Caucus
Contact Larry Jackson, to get involved or for more information. Otherwise, just show up, and lets get the job done.
February 15 — Legislative Action Day, Olympia
In addition to Legislative Action Day, there will be several other events on the State Capitol grounds. Simply show up and look for all of the people. They’ll be there.
March 2010
March 3 — 30th LD General Meeting
March 10 — 30th LD Executive Board Meeting
Contact Our Chairperson for more information.
March 14 — 30th LD Caucus
The Caucus process within the Washington State Democrats is specifically intended to allow more people to participate in our democratic processes, and shape the direction of the LD, County and State party.
In other words, if you wish the Democratic Party did things differently, this is your chance to add your voice to the discussion.
The State and County platforms will end up being different than the 30th LD Democrats platform — and that’s OK. The direction and platform of the 30th LD Democrats is determined by the membership and constituents of this Legislative District.
So, plan on coming out and adding your voice to the discussion. After all, we CAN NOT expect our democratic institutions to survive without your participation. Without your participation, we can fully expect the corporations to continue destroying our Constitution and our democracy.
